Thread: About pack sisx

    I need to pack the jad and jar files in sisx.
    is it the same way to pack them in sis?
    And what was the difference? thx

    you can package it as you can do in previous verision os SYmbian OS. And 2ndly
    SISX is used instread of SIS from OS version 9 to onwards. This is difference in simple. Actually there are some other difference regarding the composition of these files.

    I use nokia 2nd sdk, but the sis package can only be used on 7610, can not be usd on N73

    That's because for the N73 based on Symbian 9 the SIS file format has changed, and the SIS files need to be signed (and preferrably used/distributed using the file extension .sisx and not just .sis). Use tools in the S60 3rd Edition SDK to make SIS files compatible with the N73.
