activate Bluetooth device in phone ?

hi,
I have bluetooth java application run on my phone.
but I want to know if there is any way to activate the bluetooth device from java code ( not from the connectivity menu of the phone) ?

Hi slash65,

IMHO, it is not possible to activate bluetooth via application.
The bluetooth connectivity of the device should be activated prior to establishing bluetooth connection via application.
