I am reading this thread after almost 16-17 hours and I notice only about 3 have read this thread, when many threads have got lot more attention in this period. Even I had this urge to over-look this thread..my reason being, the title appeared like some marketing thread(but then i knew CareTaker was an admin, so I knew that content was worth a look).

Least you could do to reach the developers well would be to have a more 'attention grabbing' title'. To a commoner, 'Read me first' would be enough to grab attention, but developers are not that easy, unleass they know that 'CareTaker' is admin(which not many of them are aware of).

Hope my suggestion is taken in the right spirit and better titles from 'admin' come!!

    Cheers

Some people have noticed postings by "caretaker" title Read Me First that pop up in searches with the threads in groups not in the normal discussion board. These are starter threads for the new "Feedback Channels" that are attached to new resource pages.

Due to a malfunction in the search engine when you search for new posts these starter threads for the Resource Feedback Channels will show up as if they were on the Discussion Boards. Please ignore any "readme first" threads.

Hi Neil, I wanted to say Hi to the forums, but there doesn't seem to be an 'introduce yourself' thread.
I see your address is Helsinki, are you anywhere near the Nokia Factory near Espoo?
I'm considering investing in a new phone, namely the N95, I do a lot of travelling, so the gps, would be handy, plus I'm into photography and the camera looks excellent so I'm here seeing what kind of 'back up' I could expect from the forum.
I guessed that 'the caretaker' was a moderater, I thought it fairly obvious.

    Hi Zyggyztarz,

    Welcome to the Forum!!

I wanted to say Hi to the forums, but there doesn't seem to be an 'introduce yourself' thread.
Well, there isnt any special thread dedicated to introduce yourself, but anyway, I havent noticed any other developer miss it

I see your address is Helsinki, are you anywhere near the Nokia Factory near Espoo?
Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa are like one big city!! and where I stay and work are both on the edge of Helsinki and Espoo.

If you are looking for 'back-up from developers point of view, then yes. From users point of view, then maybe there are better forums than this, as this one is very dedicated to the developers and we have excellent and generous people helping each other.

I guessed that 'the caretaker' was a moderater, I thought it fairly obvious.
As developers, subject is more visual than the person concerned. People here read and reply to threads very promptly if they find the subject which they can be useful in. Very often, most dont even notice who they are helping, they concentrate more on how they can be useful.

    Good Luck
