6150 modem always non functional/ SD3.0

Hi

I have tried adding a NDS3.0a modem for our 6150 phone. We are trying to get the phone to send SMSs via SDK3.0. At present however, we get a 7590 API error. When we go to the Phones & Modems settings in Control Panel, the Nokia GSM Data modem says that it is 'Non Functional'. what does that mean? I have tried adding/removing NDS3.0a/NDS3.0 and SDK3.0/SDK2.1, but to no avail.

We are running Windows 2000 Pro.

By the way, the phone 6100 appears in Nokia Connection Manager when we activate InfraRed on the Phone.

Hi,

Nokia PC Connectivity SDK 3.0 does not support Nokia 6150, for this phone model only available SDK is Nokia PC Connectivity SDK 2.1. For solving cases like this we need more information about the enviroment you are using, for e.g. operating system, connection method, other software or hardware installed.
