How to convert Png Icons in SVG Icons??

Hi to All,

I need to convet Png Icons in REALY SVG Icons??
Is possible? And the result of convertion is Good?

Where can find realy nice SVG Icons?

You can use Adobe Illustrator to trace PNG's (bitmap images) to SVG (vector) - the results aren't always that great, depending on the complexity of your images and you have to play with the bitmap tracing settings a bit.

Normally it doesn't look that cool, since you have to tweak some points otherwise your icons can be very heavy and thus slow down the phone.

The theme editor have some pre-loaded icons for a standard theme - you can modify these.

Otherwise your best bet will be to find standard icons in FLA or EPS format, you can find some here:
http://www.flashden.net/category/flash-icons

You will then convert in Illustrator to SVG.

There are quite a lot of phone modding sites where you can download icons, a lot of them are in bitmap format though.

A lot of those icons can be found if you look for Windows Mobile icons, though I'm not sure if those are SVG, they can quite possibly be bitmap images. The only reason for using SVG is that your theme will be smaller and will scale nicer, but if you are doing for one device only you can try using bitmaps.
