    Hi,

I'm looking for a way to set the initial volume of the application to be the same as the device volume.
This doesn't seem to work (even when using the VolumeControl class).

It appears that if, for example, the user turns off the ringer volume (mute), the application volume is still on.

I also saw this phenomenon in several applications.

    Is this even possible?

    Thanks in advance,
    Alon

    Thank you soku.
Did you mean this can't be done only in Nokia phones or for all vendors?

    Regards,
    Alonish
