Need help regarding playing Mp3 files in J2ME

Actually i am developing music player in J2ME and i want play Mp3
Format sound in my application, so is there anyone who can provide me any sample code or any document?

Please check the articles below as you will need the MMAPI. You must make sure MP3 is supported by the device/implementation (MIME type).

Check the Java Documentation: Multimedia section of Forum Nokia. You can get good code samples there as well as introductory tutorials as you do not have a book as you informed.

Hey, take it easy, my friend....

I suggest you to read the user's manual carefully to see how this function works.If you confirm it's really a problem and your phone doesn't support 3D sound at all, then try updating the firmware of your 6233

First stop should always be the demos provided in Sun's Wireless Toolkit.

Download and install WTK 2.5 and that's a good start. Then I recomment the docs provided by Nokia about the MMAPI. They show how to place various audio formats.

THen you can try the mobile phones them selves... see the formats they support and then by adding the MIME type it should work. Make sure you read all the documentation provided and the FileConnection API docs too.
