Java Games Screen Resolution

A pleasant day to everyone.

I am trying to seek help on screen resolution problem with regards to java games. Most java games has a resolution greater than my 5200 Phone's resolution of 128 x 160...

I have tried to find solution on the screen resizing issue and I came up with the META-INF editing which according to most people work. BUT it seems that it didn't work with a series 40 phone or specifically my phone model... plus most of those who use this editing of META-INF has a problem with small screen java to fit a large screen phone... in my case its the other way around, I have a low resolution screen phone, and most games are of resolution higher than 128 x 160... can anyone here provide me with a workaround on the problem... any help, suggestion will be much appreciated... thanks...

No help, except getting the game developers to develop the game for different screen sizes from the beginning.

The META-INF works only on S60 devices (and as you said, is really only useful for stretching apps that have been written for a smaller screen to work on a bigger one).

just to add, the META-INF technique works with S60 3rd edition only
