How to setup the emulator to make it work with wlan

I think that WLan should work just as normal Lan, you see it as normal internet connection inside your emulator, anyway, I don't think you could make the emulator to tread the Wlan connection as WLan connection in a same way that it would be in the real device.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
I tried the same thing, set up a WLAN connection from another machine, connected the devices, but the emulator did not identify it.

Have to test it on a real device.

I too wanted to know about this... Let me explain...

I downloaded S60 3rd Edition FP1 SDK from this site. Installing tools, SDK is over and Emulator is also running on my WinXP PC. My WinXP PC has one Ethernet card and one D-Link WiFi card installed. I created Winsock IAP in Emulator to enable network connection with my LAN. Now I could browse web content using Emulator's browser application. Everything is fine till this point.

Now I disabled my Ethernet card and enabled WLAN connection in my PC. Now I'm trying to browse WEB content through Emulator using Winsock IAP, but I could not succeed.

Please guide me, if I can really try this using Emulator
