DataMatrix specification/decode

Hello there,

I'm developing an application which currently uses the semacode SDK to decode DataMatrix (DM) tags.

It'll be an commercial app and I'd like to avoid the payment of license-fees. Is there an SDK/library/whatever to encode/decode DM codes (it has not to be a semacode tag)?

I tried JSR-257 which sadly is not supporting DM... (only code 39?).
