If you're going to develop SMS apps in VB6 I recommend downloading the the developer version of the Nokia PC Connectivity Toolkit, Developers version: http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,35452,1_55,00.html

This has the libraries you need and a very good example application written in VB6. The SDK can also be used with VS.NET

im familiar with MS Comm but not with SMS technology and interfacing Nokia 30 & 22 but i have the complete kit the i\unit, data packet and configuration cd for nokia 22.
