Installing FL 2.1 on N95

I tried to install flash lite 2.1 in N95. but it says can't install. component build in. what should i do. I am tring to use XML socket using flash lite 2.1. But my N95 has fl 2.0 which wont support XML socket connection. Pls help me.

I haven't tested my self, but could it be that it's not possible to have 2.0 and 2.1 on the same device.

It is said that Flash Lite 1.1 and 2.1 can be, but not 2.0 and 2.1.

the Flash Lite 2.1 player cannot be installed on S60 3rd FP1 devices such as the Nokia N95. I think they carry the same id.

Alessandro is correct - it's not possible to install the FL2.1 standalone player on the Nokia N95, nor any S60 device that has FL2.0 pre-installed.

If you're interested in testing XML Sockets on your N95 then you can download the FL3 Developer Edition Standalone Player from the Adobe Labs site.

Once it's installed you will have a new application icon "Flash" in your applications folder. It does not overwrite your FL2.0 player on your N95.
