console application not running in S602nd FP2

Hello everyone,

My console application executes well on S602nd FP3 phones(N70,N72) and also on emulator
of both S602nd FP2 & S602nd FP3 SDK.
But it does not execute on S602nd FP2 phones(Nokia 6630,6680).
I have also compiled the file for S602nd FP2 SDK but still
it does not execute using FExplorer or profimail on target handsets of S602nd FP2.

can anyone please tell me the how to i can execute on specified handsets.
I have also tried application for different UID's but it still not works.

Add logging to your application and see where it panics. Giving some information about what the application is supposed to do might also help people understand your problem.

I cannot make a general conclusion, but FExplorer does not start .exe-s on my 6630. But it has nothing to do with the .exe, it is a limitation of FExplorer (or a certain version of it combined with certain FP2 devices).
I usually test .exe-s on 2nd edition specifying FR in the .pkg file.

Itomuta sir, there is not any panic arising in my application
as it works well on S60-2ndEdition-FP3 devices but not on
S60-2ndEdition-FP2 devices. It works fine on the emulators of
S602nd Edition & S603rd Edition SDK. I have gone through the diocumants specified by you, i am also not using any plugin API's in my application.I have also enabled logging
in my application which tells that .exe is not entering into
E32main()on that particular devices of 2nd ed-fp2.

FExplorer executes helloworld.exe example well on 6630
but not executes my application.wizard_hu sir,please tell me
in detail about specifying FR in .pkg file.
If there is any other reason then please tell me also.

Hi,

Try to build a exe from the wizard that is provided SDK. Without changing any code, build it (armi OR thumb). Create a sis file and check it. I dont know why such a thing is happening. At my end, on 6681 every thing works fine. Please notify me.

i have already build the exe with same code & for both armi or thumb. But still it does not work.
Please tell me how to make it work.

Did you try the FR (file run) option in the package file as suggested by wizard_hu_?
