6310 car mode

Hi,

The 51xx and 61xx have a specific car mode in the menu and when a car kit is plugged in. My 6310i does not have a car mode in the menu and the car kit doesn't activate the car mode. Question: Does 6310i support car mode and will it work with 6190 car kits. If so is it a HW or SW trigger to force it into car mode.

How can I put the 6310i into car mode? It is not the same as the 5190/6190 which used a HW trigger.

Hi Marko,

I know you are reading these posts. Can the 6310i be put into car mode with an Fbus command or a resistor or is it only the Mbus command that works on this model? If you don't know, or do know but won't tell at least say that much.
