    Hi All

    Just a very quick confirmation question....I am wondering if it is possible to change the phones profile from General to Silent...I am sure this cannot be done as this would involve the access of resources outside the virtual environment, but can someone please clarify this for me?

    Hi,

    It's not possible to switch profile from General to Silent in java as it involves use of native OS api's depending upon manufacturer device .

    It is not possible to change the profile from Java as there are no API exposed for that purpose..
