How to send some custom file\content in a SMS?

Hi All,

I want to send some application specific settings to the device. And I can make a XML doc for that with some settings and can ask the device to download the XML file and read\parse the settings.

BUT!!, is it possible to send content (settings\parameters in XML format) to the S60 devices via WAP-Push\SMS? The Push\SMS will be parsed by the application and setting values will be stored in the device.??

If it is possible to send some content in WAP_PUSH\SMS then what is the format of the message\PDU and how can I send it? Please give me some ideas\suggestions; atleast some start-up to put my idea in practise..

you have 140 bytes of payload in a SMS, so you can fill it as you wish. You could also make bio handlers into the phone, so you could define the emssage in a way that it is handled by your app only. check bio exmaple for more information on that topic.

I am using Now SMS to send Right Objects for separate delivery. I am sending the XML content of *.RO in the "Send XML Settings" interface of Now-SMS (as WAP-Push).
Similarly, I would like to know if it is possible to define my own schema and send custom settings to the device and how can it be recognized in the device?

And also pls suggest me some links\examples on 'Bio Handlers'..
