N91 SMS send and receive problem.

Hello, I have a N91 that I have been using for approximately 1 year. For the last couple of months, I've had a problem where my phone won't send or receive messages until I restart it. When I restart it, I receive all the messages that "should" have been send to my phone. This is a really annoying problem that I can't seem to figure out the cause for.

I tried updating the phone software, which had no effect.
Has anyone tried a similar problem or have any ideas how to resolve this problem?
It pisses me off, and even worse it pisses my girlfriend off even more!

I just deleted all messages on the phone (1133), maybe that will work.
