widget.openApplication API

Hi All,

I have a question on widget.openApplication API. It taked UID as one of the parameter. i want to use this api to open calculator app but i dont know what is the uid corresponding to calculator.

can some body help me with some docuement which gives a mapping of the same. also i think this UID approach is very platform specific.

Try 0x10005902
There should be some task manager's out there that can show you the UID3 of running applications. Have a look on http://mosh.nokia.com for such utilities.

Check this In Y-Tasks plug-in: Apps & Tasks, In Apps, Show info it shows the app UID
