Hi,
Im trying to write a script that reads a txt file from my phone and puts the details onto the calader for what ever date is in the txt file. is there a way(or a module) to access the calender like this?

Hi finchy,

You can use the calender module to add new entries to the calender, and you could use the text from the file to add as an entry.
You can have more idea about calender here on wiki and also here is an example that may help.

HI Finchy
You first use the OS module to open and read the .txt file. Manipulate the file using the OS module functions and then use the calender module to make entries.
