    Hi there,

just add a line to your applications descriptor (JAD file):

    Nokia-MIDlet-Category: Game

Bear in mind that this works only with MIDlets that are deployed via OTA download. It will NOT work for example with your Nokia Developer's Suite environment or PC Suite application installer.

    Kind regards,

as above. Whenever I install a new game using Nokia PC Suite 5 Application Installer, I can only find it in Application Category but not in Game category. Any solution or modification needs to be done in .jad file? Thank you

    Hello,

You just add the following line to the JAD file:

    Nokia-MIDlet-Category: Game

It has the additional benefit of Games folder settings affecting those of the game:
    - sounds
    - backlight
    - vibra

    Hi,

"Nokia-MIDlet-Category: Game" attribute in JAD file works when applications are downloaded over the air. It doesn't work if applications are transferred to a phone using deployment tool of Nokia Developer's Suite for J2ME or Nokia PC Suite 5.

    Best Regards,
