OMA Client Provisioning

OMA Client Provisioning is done using SMS. Has anybody used something else to achieve this?
I want to configure my settings using XMLs. I want to send XMLs which the device would read and act accordingly. I am not getting relevant APIs to do this. Any ideas??

Hi,

for such type of configuration do not use OMA CP, but OMA DM. OMA CP SMS in that scenario is used to configure the DM account, so the application will be able to synchronize. After bootstrapping the DM account the synchronization could be executed in 3 ways:

- programmatically from you application
- from the built-in "Device Management" application
- as a response on so called "OMA DM Package 0" SMS

What are the different configurations that are done through OMA CP SMS? Can I get a list from somewhere?
