TCT Publisher Id

Hey,

I'm trying to send an application for Express signing and I get error message like that:
A TCT Publisher Id was not used to sign the sis file which was submitted. A TCT Publisher Id must be used to sign your .sis file before it is uploaded to Symbian Signed, you can purchase one here: http://www.trustcenter.de/order/publisherid/dev

How can I check if those certifaces that I have are valid TCT Publisher Ids?
I have two files .cer and .key, I used them to get DevCerts (from SymbianSigned.com - OpenSigned), and it worked fine.

Could someone help me?

I used "VerifySymbianSigned_25_05_2007.exe" on my SIS file and I got:

Symbian Signed : No
Developer Certificate Signed : No
ACS Publisher Signed : Yes
ACS Publisher Supplier : Verisign (1 found)
Unknown Certifictaes : 0

So... I cannot use Versign?

It clearly indicates that your .sis file is signed with Verisign Publisher ID. You can now proceed with Symbian Signing.

Key should be valid, when I click on .cer file I see that is valid until 2008-12-22

Verisign ACS Publisher ID cannot be used with Express Signing. You have to use TC TrustCenter Publisher ID if you want to use Express Signing.

Yes, it was a mistake. I thought it was signed with TC TrustCenter Publisher ID.

Trust Center's Publisher IDs are now the only ones supported by Symbian Signed. They will also accept legacy Verisign certificates but you should not have one by this time, the change was announced more than a year ago and the Published IDs are valid for one year only.

Anyway, this are Symbian Signed issues and you should contact Symbian Signed about them.

It is true for Certified signing. But for Express Signing, you have to use TC TrustCenter Publisher ID.

Can someone help me with this error while submitting to Express Signing?

Message:
de.trustcenter.sistools.execptions.SisSignatureFormatException: Corrupt SIS file

Sis package should be ok, I signed it with developer certificate installed on phone and it worked fine.
I also was able to Express Sign it yesterday...

Does someone have a clue?

Hi zabbas12,

I am signing my SIS file for an open signed online and receive a message similar to yours ( your SIS file has been corrupted ), meaning that there is wrong with the symbian signed process right now.

i will let know if things will working fine with me
