    Hi all,

    Environment : XP Pro SP2, VS 2005 Pro SP1 + Carbide.vs 3.0.1 + 2 SDK S60 (see below)

    C:\>devices
    S60_2nd_FP2:com.nokia.Series60 - default
    S60_3rd_FP2_SDK:com.nokia.s60

Firstly I have installed the 2 S60 SDK, then I have followed instructions from
    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ds_and_Updates
(to be able to finish carbide.vs installation despite its no SDK detection)
Finally I have installed Carbide.vs 3.0.1 but only one SDK is detected by
SDK configuration manager (from VS2005) ...

Why does Carbide.vs only display one SDK (S60 3rd FP2) when "devices" tool
displays correctly the both installed S60 SDK ?
Is the trouble coming from the 'copy of xml file' tip from forum link above ?

I have no way to build a project for S60_2nd_FP2 (eg 6630 or 6680) because
this "no SDK detection" by SDK configuration manager.

Please could you provide some support to solve this trouble ?

It is mentioned in both the DataSheet and the Download page: Carbide-s usually need the CodeWarrior variant of SDK-s (when multiple variants exist).

    Hi wizard_hu_,

    thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately I am not sure to fully understand it.

Do you mean SDK S60 CW is mandatory for carbide.vs ?
(when you wrote Carbide-s, you mean carbide.vs ?)

My goal is to developp (with debugging) S60 2nd Ed. (target devices are 6630 & 6680) using VS2005+Carbide.vs ...

it means the CW variants, and not the simple WINS ones.
