what are the critial tools for developers?

Besides carbide, emulator, capability checker, mifconv, TRK, PI and etc, what else tools are critial for 3rd party developers? Any suggestions?

Notepad, command prompt, SDK documentation, energy profiler, Paint, Inkskape, Acrobat Reader, Symulation PSY ... ;) All these and maybe even more. But to start with the SDK + Carbide.c++ + errrd.sis is more than enough.

-> Adobe Illustrator (to create SVG icons)
-> Perl or other script language to create the batch build scripts
-> On the phone good file browser, task manager, capture screen app., power consumption meter app., ping(ICMP) app.
-> DevCertRequest to create developer certificate requests
-> UnSis might be helpful
-> SymSDK to switch quickly between SDKs
-> UltraEdit or PSPad is extremenly usefull
