Capturing an image on Nokia 3230?

Hi Everyone,

I have developed an application which captures an image at regular intervals, which can be set by the user itself and send those captured images to the server, where it can be viewed. Now the problem is that the application was successfully implemented on Nokia E50. By successfully I mean the application was running for almost 12-13 hours without any error on Nokia E50, then I closed the application.

And now when I am testing the same application on Nokia 3230 the application hardly went smoothly for half an hour.

I will be trying out again on nokia 3230 after formatting the cell but if anyone of you know what may be the reason for the error then please let me know.

The error was as below:-

App. closed jes-144-java-mma@1440c7 E32USER-CBase 42

Can this exception be caught and prevented from being occuring again and again.

That is quite an old device, so many things could be a problem. For example memory consumption (and less memory to start with) could very well be the problem based on your description.
Unfortunately you cannot catch those kinds of errors

Maybe this question should be moved to C/C++/Symbian Series 60?

Ummm... I think this is MIDlet issue based on the error message. Hence the Java board is the best location.
