I am sending SMS from GSM modem using AT+CMGS command in text mode. I receive the SMS and stores in the SIM automatically. But sometimes, that SMS doesn't store in the SIM. Instead, it displays in my mobile giving the options to save OR to delete it.
So, my question is WHY so happen sometimes. Is it related to SMSC's properties or to my GMS modem which is sending the SMS. And again I would like to know what type(Class) of message is this which is displaying on the phone.

?Class 0? means that the phone will immediately display the received short message. The message is not automatically stored. DCS is set
by the sender of short message and the phone behaves just accoring to the data coding scheme in the short message.

SMSC should not change the dcs. DCS is defined when writing the message. You can check your Text mode settings with at+csmp?. Maybe
you have changed your dcs setting by accident.
