Nokia permissions in midlets

Hey there,

I currently have a thread that records 250ms of wav data per interval from the phone's mic. In the emu it runs fine, but when running it on the N95-8gb it keeps asking me each 250ms for permission to use the audio features... any advice to fix this? Some security permission I need to save in the midlet?

Hi and welcome to FN Java Forums !

I guess you need to get the application verified by Java Verified™ testing program, to avoid those permissions. I am not sure though.

You can manually change the permissions for multimedia use from the default (ask always) to ask first time only for even unsigned applications

You cannot change this automatically, so the user (you) has to do that after the MIDlet has been installed
