S60 and stringItem with arabic text

Hi there ...

I am working on a small application. I am facing a problem when inserting arabic text into a stringItem. The text will not be shown properly on S60 devices such as E71 and N95. Some characters will be invisible and some words will not be shown properly. However, the text will be shown in correct way on older nokia devices such as N72.

And, I am not facing any problems with english text.

Any help?

Are you sure that the devices you have tested have native support for the characters you are trying to display.

yes ... they even have arabic keyboard
