PTT settings on N78

Hi,

I have setup a PTT emulating server and I am trying to make the PTT settings on N78, after I filled the sip profile, presence profile, XDM profile and PTT profile. Then I tried to make a PPT 1to1 call but the N78 prompt "Domain missing, please check PTT connections".

Anyone has idea about this? Thanks a lot!

Hi Ayog, I have been trying to figure out similar issue. Unfortunately I have only questions to you.

My problem was that in N78, the native PTT application was giving an error "Feature not supported".
Are you using any other PTT client?

Now I am with 6210 navigator which has the S60 native PTT application.
From where I will get the XDM, SIP profile settings?
Is it from the network service provider?

My service provider seems to be ignorant about this.

I am using N78 Native PTT client, as far as known, different verions of N78 has different feature sets.

And I am using a free PTT server to simulate, so I could get the settings from my PTT server. If you want to use it in operator network, the settings should be provided by provider if the provider support this functionalities.

Can you please tell me from where I can find the free PTT server. This could help me to have a back up plan.

I had contacted the service provider again. Looks like those technical support guys are totally unaware of the OMA complaince.

For PTT emulator, please google "Ericsson SDS".

Unfortunately, my problem has not been fixed. I still meet "Domain missing"...

if you want sip,xdm settings then go to forun voip,ptt here u will find the solution .

I've just find a free PTT server: wippies.com
It works with a N82 and a E71.
