Incoming SMS sound - play it myself

Hi,

my MTM now does not generate any sounds when a new message arrives. I created a notification dialog to show when a new message arrives. Can I play the same sound as for an incoming SMS for this notification dialog? How do I program playing this sound? And how do I find the audio file containing this sound? I mean the user can change the sound which is played when a new message arrives, correct? Any APIs for this purpose?
