Hi
I'm thinking which IDE should I use do develop for s60. (Beginner).
Does Netbeans supported by the SDK as much as the Carbide IDE does?
Which is more user-friendly?
Did anyone try the VS 2008 and does the SDK support it?
Thanks!

Both IDE (Visual studio and carbide) are user-friedly. Its depend on you to select right. if your are much familiar with visual studio than use VS else use carbide.
.
Thanks.
I asked about the compatibility between the IDE'S and the SDK.
Do VS 2008 & Netbeans have same compatibility as Carbide?
Does anyone have a better opinion about Netbeans than Carbide?
NetBeans is used for Java ME development. Carbide.c++ and Carbide.vs are used for Symbain C++ development. As for compatibility with the SDK, that might depend on which SDK you're talking about.
Also, see this article for tips on getting started with Symbian programming.
most of the ide's use symbian project file .inf as base so i think it does not matter if if you change IDE when project has been created by a different IDE.
