Building mapping application with S60_3rd_Edition_SDK_FP2

Hi,
I would like to build an mobile application, with S60_3rd_Edition_SDK_FP2, that loads a map from a local file(esri shapefile, GDF3.0, SIF+, TAB file) and allows users you to view and navigate it.
Could you help me?

Welcome to Forum Nokia DiBo! Of course, helping each other is the purpose of this board. By the way, what have you got already? There are many getting started guides, you can find them on the DiBo, but FN main site also provides some.

Hi,
I found some getting started guides that refer to how to view the maps from google maps or Yahoo maps. I would instead build an application that works without connecting to the internet.
Could you post some links?

I think I have found what I needed: Map and Navigation API on S60 3rd FP2.
Unfortunately I read the following discussion:

and I understand that these API are paid.
