Voip client (rel. 3.0) for N78 and N96?

Hi,

Does anybody know if the integrated VOIP client (3.0) will be available for N78 and N96 devices in the next firmware release? Both have FP2 - same as N79 and N85 which have the VOIP client integrated.

I have the same question. Old phones (N95, N95 8GB) and new phones (N79, N85) have VoIP then why not N96? Many N96 consumers are asking this question and for good reason. Can someone from Nokia please reply and explain the insane decision to drop such a critical feature on their "flagship" product. If it was operator pressure then the new phones would also not have it, so I'm guessing it was either blindness to consumers needs or just plain incompetence.

I´ve got my N96 since 8 Weeks and since today I never really used it (Only for making a few Photos) because the main reason for buying it was VOIP and Navigation with TomTom. Both is even not possible.
While reading a lot in this and other boards i hope and pray for the Update which will add the missing VOIP-Client on my N96. I will use it at home via Wlan with my Fritzbox 7170 as normal Phone via SIP (in the actual FW the 7170 has a SIP-Function to use SIP-Phones via WLAn to receive calls on the normal ISDN Numbers at the SIP Phone.
Only the settings are possible on my N96 but ther´s no Client installed which can receive the calls.
Is there something happening in the last few month that i can add the missing SIP Client?
