Send SMS in 3rd Edition

Hi all,

I have created an application in 2nd edition that send sms and it work very well. Now i am trying to do the same for 3rd edition. I have created the application, no building error. But when i try to send a sms from my application, the msg goes to the Draft folder and it remains there. I have taken an example from the forum. I want to know should i need developer certified in 3rd edition for the application which have capability like NetworkServices. If not then what may be the reason.

check the time you are setting to the message. in your case it is in future. try searching in this forum to get the solution it has been discussed so many times.

Also do remember to do a bit of searching in the Wiki, I'm rather sure that there would be working solutions on SMS sending available in there.

You do not require any developer certificate just for the sake of sending SMS. It will work with Self-Signed applications. As far as the problem is concerned, I also faced it long time ago and I had written article for that on Wiki. You need to use UniversalTime() for TMsvEntry object while creating SMS.
