Functionality on highlighted Number,URL,Email Address

In my custom MTM Message editor,a number ,an url and an email address is not highlighting,like default message editor.when user select highlighted number a menu option is popuped with some option like call->voice call,video call..etc.
to do this, i have used Itemfinder API, but here only highlighting is working,rest of the functionality i have to manage.
so my question is "Is there any API that can all these things".so that there is no need of managing functionality like call open link.

any help just abt its possible with s60 3rd or not.

The related API is not part of the public SDK-s. At least the one I know.
