GetOperatorName return -1

Hi,everyone.
I want to get the operator name in my program.And I used the CTelephony's member function GetOperatorName in an active object,
but the iStatus gets a value with -1 when the active object's function 'RunL' is called.
Anyone knows why?Thanks.

Note that you surely can not get operator name in:
- the emulator
- offline mode.

But I did it on my phone 'N81'.And I used the capability ReadUserData NetWorkServices and ReadDeviceData.

I'm also trying to fetch the operator name. Does anyone get it work?

I tried other 3 functions. None of them works.

The sample code does not work on my Nokia N95. The returned operator name is empty, as the iStatus is -1. Any idea? Thanks.

it is propably not the devie problem, most likely it is network that does not want to publish that. I do remember seeing that not all networks are giving all of the infromation, basically you could then try out the other functions to see what sort of information you can get.
