    Hi,

Is there any way to add actions (QAction) or Menus (QMenu) to the right hand side of a MenuBar or ToolBar? By defaut, all actions and menus are getting added to the left side. The requirement is to write some actions to the left and some to the right of a menubar.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    biswarup

    Hi,

There's nothing for this in the documentation. Are you talking about the order of the items (you could remove them and re-enter them in the correct order) or spacing. If it's the latter then I think this is down to the UI style, which hasn't yet been implemented for Qt on S60 (I think the Mac style has something like what you're talking about).

You could always subclass the menu bar and re-implement the drawing code to position items where you want them.

    Hi,
We need to offer what end users expect and are used to so the S60 style guide will be followed, menus will act exatcly as "options" menu. No possibility to have menus on the right soft key.

    Cheers,

That's not implemented yet though right?

Also, presumably it will only apply to the menubar for the QMainWindow instance? It would still be possible to add touch operated menu bars elsewhere on the screen?

    Hi,
presuming the same thing about QMainWindow. I'm not sure how the touch menubar will be from Qt, I'll ask around.

    Cheers,
    Jack
