    Hi All,

I want to make my sis file like that, one sis file will install once. I mean to say if someone install the sis file in some handset then from next time the sis file should not work when someone try to install it. I am eagerly waiting for your reply.

    Regards,
    Santu

The building blocks for the SIS file are in the PKG script and everything about that is documented. You could try for example to determine whether the package with the known UID is already installed and if so, display a proper message and then abort the installation. The only question is: would such test be performed early enough to stop the uninstallation of the already existing instance? Try that and let us know what the result is.

    Hi Itomota,

The sis file will not work for any mobile if it was used to install in any mobile. Is this possible? I want to make this because if i sell the sis file to someone and if he share that sis file with other then that sis file should not work. So is this possible to do? If then please help me to do that.

    Regards,
    Santu

For such miracles you need on-line activation with a server.

Wizard is right, you should not attempt to block the installation, that is pretty much out of your control. Instead implement some kind of activation mechanism in your application.
