Is there any API to change the settings present in Tools->Connectivity->GPS Data

Basically i want to enable which module to use for location acquisition programmaticlly.

These settings are controlled by the GPS Data application.

Is there any API change the settings ?

That is something for the user to control, depending on whether they want to enable positioning technologies that would incur costs (AGPS or Network Based Positioning) or whether they want Location Based Services to be enabled at all.

At best you could add a similar menu entry to your application so that the user can easily access the Positioning settings (see the SDK API Plug-in for S60 3rd Edition FP2).
