It seems like it should be quite straightforward to define a format for repositories of pys60 scripts with an associated application to choose between them, submit reviews, download them, launch them and so on, ideally entirely written using pys60.
Admittedly it's not particularly difficult at the moment to download and install pys60 scripts, but making it possible to do this natively would be very convenient and potentially popular facility - look at the success of the Apple iPhone app store.
The requirements would presumably be:
- login/user id of some kind
- view "feed" of apps
- dl an application script (+image files etc) and write to file
- review and "uninstall" scripts
- a specification and implementation for the server side of this
Is anything here impossible/anything I've missed out?
