E series use a 5 digit 'lock code' to allow the user to access their handset after it goes into standby.
The same phone requests the PIN1 code when you switch it on, if SIM lock is on.
We're asking the user to remember one more code. Can anyone justify the additional memory burden we are asking for?
Is the only benefit: you can print the default 'Lock code' in the user manual?
