    Hi,

FREE sounds great for the new Carbide. But it with some problems (at least for me). I've used the same workspace that I've used for Carbide v1.3 and I've updated all my projects (as it asked me to do it). Everything went well, except that I have no highlights .

The new version doesn't recognize my classes, includes, etc... the only thing I can do is open the include files by clicking them directly. I've tried the old trick of rebuilding the index which was working on the older version of carbide. Now when I press on rebuild index for my project nothing happens. Any ideas why?

If I cannot have highlights and move from objects to class declarations the new IDE is quite useless.

    Thanks,
    Omar

Workspaces don't easily transfer from one IDE version to the other. If you are using v2.0 you need to start in a new workspace.

    Thanks for the hint.

After creating a new workspace and importing my projects the index function is working .
It's not very cool to import all the projects when you change the version of Carbide.

    Thanks,
    Omar
