    Dear Devs,

    I replaced all instances of my unprotected UID3 with my
    new UID3 got from symbian signed.

    Unistalled and reinstalled app on my phone, all OK, using my dev certificate.

    the problem is that, my old unprotected UID3 still appears at one place
    when I search for it:
    application.uidesign
    --> <propery id="uid">0xE111111</property>

    should I be worried? how can I fix this?
    thanks
    Stavros

    Ideally you should Find and Replace all the occurrences of your old UID with new UID from your project folder. You can do it from Carbide.c++ IDE.

    Note: Make sure that you find for E111111 in your whole project, not for 0xE111111.

    That is a text (XML) file, you open it and change the value.
