    Hello guys,

I got some questions about the the selection of access point.

1 What effects the order of access point in connection preference table? The times the access point is used for? The date of access point definition?

2 Does user have ability to change the order?

There is another issue I need some suggestion. I want to do HTTP transaction. But the selection of access point is tricky since an operator could provide several access points for different services. The question is that when I choose the unsuitable access point, for instance MMS access point for HTTP transaction, the access point could be connected with. But the data thansaction is unaivalable. Is there any suggestion to solve this problem? Something like an AP selection algorithm or a way to be notified when the data transition is unavailable.

for your case, the better way is that you read system iap table, filter your suitable iap, and show the select table by your code, it can be sort.
