    Is there any way to kill an Application which is not responding in 5800 as there is no 'C' key

    Long press on the Home key shows the task list. A long tap on the application shows a popup menu with one of the options being Close.

    I'm rather sure that this info is in the user guide though

    Reboot the device or get a 3rd party task manager application which allows you to kill tasks.
