Backup and Restore Program

has anyone developed a backup and restore program which creates a backup of the phone memory and stores it in the memory card for future restoration? please help me get started on a program like this too. thank you!

Even if someone done backup and restore program he/she might not share code because of privacy policy. You can start it by learning "how to access contacts", "how to store it in database" etc. Search wiki for accessing contacts and to create database.

- the program should create a backup for everything in the phone memory, such as contacts, images, sounds and other personal settings should be recovered too. how could i start? so far, i still learning on how to use carbide. i haven't started on anything yet. thank you.
