Addressable (usable) screen size for wallpapers

We received this failure on a few wallpaper submissions to the Ovi store:
"Failed Case 1: Wallpaper
Summary: If the user downloads the wallpaper and set as wallpaper to the device screen, then the user notices that the wallpaper does not occupy the full screen.
Requirement: Ensures that the wallpaper scales to the screen. For devices with dual screens i.e. E90, N96, and etc., verify that the wallpaper is set on all screens.
Steps to conduct the test:
1. Open File manager.
2. Select the wallpaper and set as wallpaper.
3. Observe results.
Expected Results: Wallpaper scales correctly without any errors. Wallpaper is set for all screens for devices with more than one screen. (public, Qa in progress -> Qa failed) "

We provided wallpapers according to the specs published on Forum Nokia at http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices (http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/matrix_all_1.html) however the site provides only the physical screen size and not the usable screen size of the devices. We've tried to address with Nokia directly but they do not provide any help other than to continue to point us to that same site.

My questions are:
1) Does anyone have the correct (usable) screen sizes we should be submitting for the devices above?
2) For the devices above listed as "Other Devices", how do we find out what the correct usable screen size is for this group of devices or what devices are included in the "Others" group?
3) How are we supposed to address devices with dual screens? i.e. how do we provide one image that works on all screens and screen settings?
4) How are we supposed to address devices with rotating screens? i.e. how do we provide one image that works on all screens and screen settings?

5) Can anybody point me to contact information for customer service at Nokia that works (esp. a phone number)?

Note that the wallpaper area on S60 devices is actually smaller than the actual screen size! The only way to get a full screen background picture is not by using a wallpaper, but only by creating a whole S60 theme package.

Note also that some devices (like the N95, etc.) support both portrait and landscape orientation.

If you use Carbide.ui (for theme creation, one of the elements described there is the wallpaper area, because a theme can set both the background image as well as the wallpaper). You will get the wallpaper resolutions from there (might also be documented in the Carbide.ui docs).

Note also the varying screen sizes with S40 devices vs. S60/Symbian (and with S40 devices, the wallpaper does use the whole background area on the standby screen, unlike on S60 devices).

Hi,
Having tested wallpaper on the E6x series
The main problem can be seen by in "options -> selecting "Full Screen"
the on the left and right of screen there is a bit of white, which does not belong to any part of picture.

The problem is this is function that is called on loading a wallpaper.

When "options -> selecting "Zoom In" is used the image FILLS the screen, no border.

Why not Book some time and check out the how they look.

The other alternative is to use Themes using Cabide.ui which is *FREE* tool and will allow you to access the E6x series.
