Will Home screen widget work's on 5800 xpress music phone?

Hi all,
I want to develop a home screen widget.i tried stew example.nothing happened.will home screen widget work's on 5800.

Is there any example to test on this phone.

current firmwares are not supporting the home screen widgets, and I have not seen any information that would suggest them to work with 5800 in the future, thus the answer is no. You could check RDA devices and see whether there is N97 available already.
