White app screen and phone resets?

Hi all,
I've just setup QT for S60_3rd_FP2_SDK_v1.1, Nokia N81 phone and trying to build "Getting started with Qt for S60" http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ith_Qt_for_S60.
All works fine for emulator, but on the Phone I can't see any buttons. I can see only white screen some seconds and after that phone resets
Please help to resolve the problem.

Hi,
Does your phone resets all the time you run your application?
Try to arrange the buttons in the top left corner it may be visible. Or you can try with this simple helloworld article.

Simple Helloworld in Qt for S60.

I doubt it's something related to your application. Because this happens to me too with all Qt apps I've tried so far, whether I compile them myself or download them.

Specifically:

QtS60HelloWorld, which I compiled myself, and can be found here.
And, fluidlauncher_armv5_udeb_3x.sisx which I downloaded from here


My really wild, uneducated guess is that somehow the openC libraries are not correctly set on my phone (N95 8Gb) which as far as I know has S60 3rd FP1, and for which I had to install the OpenC libraries found here

When I check my application manager it shows the following:

Open C GLIBRARY
Open C LIBSSL
Symbian OS Pipes
Symbian OS PIPS
Open C LIBSSL Common
Open C GLIBRARY Common
PIPS Installer
Q tLibs pre-release

Maybe some of these packages are messing up (e.g Symbian OS Pipes and Symbian OS PIPS) with each other or something...

Has anyone else had this problem???
