Hello,
I can install simulationpsy on devices lower than symbian 9.3 but not on the others?
Where have you taken the Simulation PSY from? There is at least one SDK version in which the PSY is not properly signed, I think it was the S60 3.2 SDK. There is a known issue about this and the tool is available at http://tinyurl.com/SimulationPSY

best regards
I've got the same problem. If I install the tool located at http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...tion_Tool.html on an FP2 phone I get a certificate error.
Yes, it seems that we still have a problem with that tool. The web page will be updated soon, until then you can use the attached file:

Hi,
I tried your Simulation_PSY.zip file but it didn't work also.
I got a "Unable to install" message.
Actually, everything was working fine until I updated my device's (Nokia 6210 Navigator) firmware from 4.09 to 4.13 version.
Now, I'm getting "Certificate error" in almost all attempts to install my .sis files again.
Any help?
Thanks in advance.

Is this something to do with the PSY sis only or any other sis file you might try?

I tried some others .sis files.
Some of them worked well, but others were impossivel to install due to 'Certification Error'.
Is this related to the firmware update?
I don't know what to do.
I would advice you to reset the device (*#7370#) then make sure to boot with a SIM inside and to input correct location (timezone) and date/time data. Make sure to backup any relevant data you might have on that phone.

Lucian,
your file was successfully installed.
Thanks a lot.
Could you attach the simpsyconfigurator as well?
thanks a lot
This is a all-in-one package.

sorry, you are right.
I just needed to install the SimulationPSY in the memory card in order to easily replace the .nmea dump files.
thanks.
